Myra Hurtado,
Owner & Clinical Director | Trauma Therapist | Speaker | Trainer | Consultant

Myra Hurtado is the Owner and Clinical Director of Healing Hearts Counseling in Gilbert, Arizona. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, Certified EMDR Therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist. Myra specializes in trauma, complex trauma, dissociation, grief, and nervous system-informed care.

Myra approaches therapy with warmth, compassion, and clinical depth. She believes healing is not simply about managing symptoms, but about restoring connection, safety, wholeness, and the capacity to live more fully. Her work is rooted in the understanding that trauma impacts the whole person — mind, body, and soul — and that meaningful healing must honor each person’s unique story, culture, beliefs, and lived experience. When desired by the client, Myra is able to integrate a faith-based perspective into the counseling process.

In addition to her work with clients, Myra is a speaker, trainer, consultant, and supervisor for other mental health professionals. She provides EMDR consultation, clinical supervision, and trauma-focused training for clinicians seeking to deepen their understanding of complex trauma, somatic therapy, EMDR, and nervous system-informed care.

Myra is also the Founder of The Institute for Integrative Healing, where she offers trainings and courses for clinicians. The Institute is an approved NBCC continuing education provider, supporting therapists with professional education in trauma recovery, EMDR, somatic integration, and whole-person healing. Learn more at www.instituteforintegrativehealing.com.

Myra’s heart for integrative care also led her to co-found The Integrative Healing Center of Arizona, a collaborative space for mind-body-spirit healing in Gilbert. The center brings together professionals in mental health, holistic wellness, nutrition, body-based care, and restorative services to support whole-person healing.

When Myra is not working with clients, training clinicians, or dreaming up new ways to support integrative healing, you will likely find her with her family, cheering on one of her four children from the sidelines. Family, faith, healing, and community remain at the heart of who she is and the work she feels called to do.

Tiffany Wisdom, LPC-S

“The best thing you have to offer is yourself” Quote by Lisa Olivera. These words are the best way to describe Tiffany’s approach to helping others by using therapy, connection, and body work such as yoga, and breathe to come back to our authentic selves. Tiffany specializes in working with people to overcome trauma and/or adverse experiences. When it comes to trauma many people lose their connection to their authentic self.  Tiffany believes the brain is always working to protect us and will build up defenses to help get us through to the next moment, this is what is sometimes referred to a survival mode. There comes a time when we no longer need those protections and Tiffany helps find ways for individual’s to build new pathways to re-connect to their authentic self and in the process build confidence and security to create the life they want.

Tiffany’s journey to becoming a therapist was not a linear road. Tiffany has been in the Social Services field for over 20 years. Tiffany completed her Bachelors of Science through University of Phoenix and went on to complete her Masters of Science in Counseling through Southwest Oklahoma State University. Tiffany is also a Certified Yoga Teacher. Tiffany has a passion for creating services in areas of need and spent the last 10 years creating and providing services for people in rural Oklahoma. Tiffany is currently licensed in Oklahoma and Arizona and also provides Supervision for LPC candidates.

Tiffany is EMDR trained through EMDRIA, is a Nationally Certified TF-CBT provider and has extensive experience in Suicide prevention.

Tiffany has worked through her own journey to healing and understands the value of having a therapist to provide a safe place to help guide one through the healing process. Through Tiffany’s own healing experience she strongly believes in the power of healing our mind, body and spirit and that it is vital to have safe people to share our in our journey to healing. In Tiffany’s off time she enjoys hiking, reading, yoga, dancing, and spending time with her Pugawa Snort.
