Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is a short-term goal-focused evidence-based therapeutic approach, which incorporates positive psychology principles and practices, and which helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems.
SFBT can be helpful for those who are facing anxiety, stress, minor depression, relationship issues, or family conflict. This form of therapy is not emphasize the problem at all; it stresses and highlights the solution. The client is the expert and not the therapist and the focus is on building solutions rather than solving concerns.
